Well Rehabilitations

Ingram Well and Pump has been doing well rehabs for a number of years and has the experience to restore the well to its full potential.

When a well has been in service for many years, the minerals in the aquifer can build up and lower the efficiency of a well. In order to bring it back to what it once was, a well rehabilitation is needed. Ingram Well and Pump has been doing well rehabs for a number of years and has the experience to restore the well to its full potential. Using chemicals, air, and mechanical tools, we clean the screen and dissolve the built up mineral deposits which have decreased the efficiency of the well.

IWPS uses a number of techniques to rehabilitate a water well.

Air Lifting:

A jetting tool is lowered into the well and using a high volume air compressor, we will develop the well and lift debris from the bottom.

Brushing:

A brush is lowered into the well and simply brushes the casing and screen.

Air Impulse Generator:

This cleaning method is based on the creation of high-pressure gas impulses created by our Airshock generator, transforming compressed gas into a useful mechanical force.

Once the operator lowers the Airshock to the desired firing depth, they open the compressed gas supply valve and the Airshock automatically starts firing between 2-5 seconds at an adjustable pressure between 150-3500 psi.  After each pulse, this process will begin to remove hardened scale and biological build-up from the screen, gravel pack and surrounding area.

The shock wave breaks up the scale on the screen, while the expanding and contracting bubble forces water in and out of the gravel pack and aquifer ensuring a comprehensive washing process. In a very short time, a well can be restored to the original level of efficiency.

This method is unique both in success and ease of setup and operation.

All of these technologies can be used in conjunction with one another, as well as a chemical injection to help achieve the best results.
